Beginning July 7th, we will begin a Women’s Dharma Circle. Grounded in the teachings of early and modern Buddhist women, we will reflect upon the joys and challenges of life. By mindfully watering seeds of love and joy while transforming seeds of pain and injustice, we will cultivate compassionate presence and action for the benefit of all.
Initially, we will use the poems from The First Free Women – a collection of poetry, written during the Buddha’s life, by the earliest Buddhist women. We will journey with these women throughout their joy, pain, courage, and love. We will share our own lived experiences as women in a safe and supportive space in the context of the Dharma.
