Mt. Adams Buddhist Temple Cloister is a secluded area for serene meditation.  Within the fence are eight meditation huts which also serve as accommodations for visiting retreatants.  There is also a 12 bed hostel and a small pavilion with translucent walls for semi-secluded meditation.  There are also two wooden walking mediation platforms.  Sprinkled throughout the Cloister are dozens of statues of Buddha and Bodhisattvas all of whom serve as reminders of the Dharma teachings from Shakyamuni Buddha.  A koi pond (under reconstruction), Tibetan prayer flags and prayer wheels, and beautiful landscaping add to the contemplative feeling of the Cloister.
